Karen Elson collaboration with Nine West on the Vintage America collection.

I'm not surprised the former Mrs. Jack White (tear) went this route. She looks amazing in the photos (as usual) but I'm not sold on the product. I enjoy the wedge t-strap and the romantic feel of the collection but the sparkle and hardware selections have a less than glamorous sense. Perhaps I'll need to see them in person. Either way, the more Karen the better!

shark celebration

Lucky for me my birthday normally falls right around Shark Week (SHARK WEEK!!!) so I feel like the celebrations continue for weeks. This year a couple gifts mirrored my favorite sea creature more than ever.  The Sam Edelman Lorissa pump is basically my own set of dorsal fin's (yes they are as sharp as they look). And a hand made/laser cut set of shark fin rings. No more description needed besides my crafty friend is the best! Pretty amazing gifts/people in my life.

Now flash forward. I about passed out when these two looks caught my eye in a recent Vanity Fair magazine. How very 90s middle school dance party of them.
