According to Miu Miu fall 2011 ready-to-wear it is ok to release your inner 7 year old/Dorothy and wear all over glitter shoes. Since I own a pair of all over glitter shoes, I'm going to agree on this one.

omaha photog

Last time I was home, I had the chance to play around with Travis Freeland of T. Free Photography and his camera in downtown Omaha. The point of the shoot was to showcase some fashion in unique settings. I had to reiterate that I am not a model and actually have a hard time smiling in photos (my lips disappear if I do!). He sent me some of the images above and I think he definitely captured it. It sure is different (a good different) looking at professional shots of myself compared to my daily photos taken with a basic digital camera. Interesting to see what a fancy camera and photoshopping (I know it's there) can do!

In honor of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, I took my nOir rings out for a swim. I also polished my nails in OPI's Pirates special edition Skull and Glossbones. I did not however see the movie, opening weekend movie seeing is a little too intense for me.
